Bob and Friends

It's been a long time between posts but I have finally had some time to get crafty again. Last night I made this cute little Bob the Builder card for my cousins little boy who is turning two in a couple of weeks.
The papers are from Stampin up and the image I've printed off my computer. The image isn't the best quality but I am quite happy with the overall outcome of the card.

Here is a close up of the card so you can see the layers and depth of the card. The star and clouds are outlined in glitter.

I made this card for a friends birthday which was last month. I have used Bazzill cardstock, My Mind's Eye papers and these beautiful paper roses.

These are some of the cards I made for Helen's challenges at Scraptherapy.

Thanks for taking a peek. Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Bo Bunny petal pushers

It's Monday, and what a wet Monday it is! Great weather for making cards but not much else.

Today I am sharing a set of cards I made using the new Bo Bunny Petal Pusher range of papers.
Those bright colours on the black background look so striking and vibrant. I managed to make 7 cards with just a few pieces of this range, teamed up with black and white cardstock and lots of bling.

Blue chocolate

Another order for a 40th Birthday Card! This time I was asked to use brown on the card. I don't use browns a lot, but am pleased with the way this turned out.
I have used Christina Re PP and teamed it up with some beautiful soft blue shimmer and brown shimmer cardstock, MS border punch, a bit of stain ribbon and bling.

Twin Boys card

There seem to be so many multiple births happening around here lately.
Must be something in the water!
Anyway, I was asked to make a special card for a lady who had twin boys, this is what I came up with.

This photo shows you how the top part of the card was folded.

The top of the card opened

Then finally mounted onto a 14cmx14cm square card base.

I have used retired Stampin Up baby clothes line wheel stamp and assorted baby stamps.

Designer Series Paper is cottage wall. The leaves are Stampin Up little leaves sizzlit die.
Scallop border is also from Stampin up. .

Sorry this pictures aren't the best quality or straight!  I took these in a hurry, but you get the idea. ;)

40th Birthday Easel card

Well, here is my very first easel card! I have been going to try one of these for ages and today, finally got around to making one. Must admit, I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
This card is going all the way to Sydney to a lady who is turning forty next month.
I hope she likes it!

Today I want to share a couple of cards I have made using the new Imaginisce single flower and the new B&W papers from MME. This  beautiful little stamp goes perfectly with this paper, you can do so much with it. I have a few more cards made that I will share with you a little bit later.

ST Retreat 2010

What a fantastic time was had by all at the Scrap Therapy Retreat last weekend. It was so nice to catch up with the girls from previous years and to meet some of the other girls from the forum for the first time. I can't wait until next years retreat. I did manage to get 18 cards and 3 layouts done.
Here are a few photo's from the weekend.

Thinking of you daisies

This card was made for a  friend who lost her son in law in a tragic accident last week.
He has left behind two small children and his lovely wife. It is so heartbreaking when something like this happens. I feel for the small children who have to go on without their daddy. It just makes me so sad!
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all the family.

Razzleberry Garden

How pretty are these colours? These are some of the new goodies from the Stampin up Autumn-Winter mini catalogue that I will be demonstrating at my next card class. The colours are rich razzleberry, pale plum and olive which coordinate beautifully with the new Designer series paper, Cottage wall. The stamp set is Cottage garden.
For more info, or to purchase any of these products, send me an email and I will be more than happy to help you.

Long weekend card creations

Well another weekend is almost here! Where do these weeks go?
Last weekend was a long one and I spent a lot of that time at home in my craft room. It was so nice to have a couple of days to just make cards. I have so many cut-outs in a box so I decided it was time to put them together and make some cards to use them up.
Here is one set of cards using the new beautiful Kaiser craft range called Utopia.
I love the aqua and purple combo.

Some cards using my new MS border punch and Prima flowers! Some of you will know a little story about me and my MS punch, lets just say DON'T USE TO MUCH MUSCLE with these punches ;)
Thanks Lee-Anne for replacing it for me!
This is what I was trying to achieve!

Hope you all have a beautiful relaxing Mother's day on Sunday!
Bye for now,

Mother's Day cards

Mother's day is coming so I thought I'd make a start on some Mother's day cards.
Here are the first one's I have made for this year.
Paper used on these cards are  from Basic Grey. It is such a soft pretty pattened paper which is perfect for
the type of card I have made. The large white rose flower has been hand made using different sizes of the retro punch. These punches have been sitting in my cupboard unused for some time but I think they will be getting used a bit more often now I have discovered another use for them. The border punch is from Fiskars, ribbon is bashful blue from Stampin up! I will be back later in the week to show you some more cards I have made. Hope you all have a good week!

Bigger The Wishes

Stamps used on this card are also from Stampin Up! Both stamps are from the 2010 sale-a-bration catalogue.

Sweet treat butterfly

Hi, I know it has been ages since I have posted anything! I'm not much of a blogger am I!

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and share a card I made using a Stampin up! set called Something Sweet. The sweet treat cup is filled with water and butterfly sprinkles so they float around. Hope you like it!
