Stampin Up Baby bundle

Hello everyone in Blog land! I have been a shocking blogger I know. It has been ages since I posted anything.
Here are some baby cards I made a little while back using the Stampin up baby bundle stamp set.
I love this set, you can do so much with it. Sorry for the shocking pictures also. I only took one photo of all three together, then tried to copy and crop the photo's so you could get a closer look. Oh well, here they are any way.

The paper is from Stampin up also from the Designer Series Patterned paper in the brights collection. Thanks for taking a peek! I'll try not to leave it so long before my next post.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Card and a half challenge 1

Hi here! I finally had some time to stamp today and decided to do
the very first sketch challenge on Card and a half.

Here's the sketch

And here is my card using this sketch as inspiration.

I wanted to do something girlie, so decide to ink up my Ballerina Tilda
which has been sitting unused for a while.
I've used watercolour pencils to colour the image to give it a softer finish and layered it on
MME and Kaisercraft papers, and added some ribbon, bling and flowers to finish it off.
Click on the card to take a closer look.

Thanks for visiting!

16 year old Diva's

My daughter just recently went to a friends 16th Birthday party and the theme was 'Diva' and  pink and silver. The girls had a great time dressing up with lots of make up and they went to a lot of trouble to get the theme just right. Here are a couple of photo's of the girls.

As you can see, they had a great day with lots of laughs.

My daughter and her friends mum asked me to make her a special 16th birthday card.

This is what I made.

This is the card I made for the mum to give to her daughter.

As you can see here in the close up, lots of bling and a 'Diva' in pink and silver.

And this is the card I made for my daughter to give to her friend.

Butterfly wishes

I hope you have all had a great start to the week! Can't believe we are half way through another.

Today I've been playing with my Spellbinders Fleur De Lis dies, Sunshine design butterfly collection stamps from Platypuss creek and Verve stamps.
This is one of the cards I made.
The butterflies are coloured with Tombow watercolour pens and the wings have glitter on them
to give them a little bit of sparkle.

Have a wonderful rest of the week everyone. :-)

The leaves are lined with glitter also.

More of my holiday cards

Here are some more cards I managed to make while
on my three weeks annual leave.
Love these little butterflies! I found them when I was on holidays.
They are glitter on acetate with little pearl centres.
How cute are they! There was red, purple and white in a pack.
Here are the red ones.

And the purple one

And the white one

Wish I had bought more packets of them, now I can't find them.

Viva La Verve sketch Challenge

Today's card is for the Viva La Verve February Challenge
Here is the sketch. Such a nice simple sketch to work with.

I decided to use flowers instead of ribbon for this one.

Papers are from Kaisercraft, floral and wording stamps are from Verve-
Love story and Great friends. The flourish is a felt flourish I found in the bottom of one
of my draws, also used Spellbinders circles and Lacey circles and a couple of pearls and some bling
 to finish it off.

And here is my card.

Thanks for stopping by.

A new year and new cards

Wow, two posts in one day!

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a good start to the new year

Well, the holidays are over for another year so back to routine tomorrow. My girls have enjoyed their break but are well and truely ready to go back to school.
I was lucky enough to have three weeks holidays also. We went away for one week and the other two weeks were spent around home and I actually got into my craft room and made a heap of cards. 85 of them!

Working full time, I don't get in my craft room as often as I would like to and sometimes I just don't have any mojo, So if felt good to have a full day in the craft room to create.

Valentines Day is just around the corner. Here are a few simple cards to celebrate the occasion.

More cards for that special someone

                                                                          I love you

I have plenty more cards to share, so keep and eye out.

Scrap Jacked

Here is my first entry for the Aussie scrap jacked Challenge.
My inspiration for this card came from Julie's layout. I love the aqua blue and green color combination in her layout, it is so striking. Thanks for taking a look. :)
